Port of Newport: Director of Finance and Business Services

The Port of Newport is seeking candidates for Director of Finance and Business Services. This position is a key member of the Port of Newport leadership team. The Director serves as an advisor to the Port General Manager, Director of Operations and the Port Commission on business and financial matters pertaining to implementation of the Port’s Strategic Plan, annual budget, administrative policies, and human resource practices enabling the Port to optimize its operating efficiency and achieve its mission. This position is responsible for executing a strategic approach to financial management, human resource management, and economic development as directed by the General Manager. Significant responsibilities include maximizing the development of business opportunities, identifying and applying for appropriate grants, ongoing evaluation of the Port’s financial position, and continual improvement of the of Port’s internal business operations.


The Port is flexible on the schedule for this position, open to accommodating either a 1.0 or .75 work week.


Salary Range: $78,520 to $97,630. Hire rate is budgeted at mid-range.

Port of Columbia County: Real Estate and Business Development Manager

This exciting and challenging position manages the real estate and business development efforts for the Port of Columbia County. You will manage the full cycle of marketing, leasing, and the buying/selling of Port assets as well as seek business development opportunities with Port properties.
